Discussion Boards
Yahoo! Clubs
The Yahoo! Clubs have been the catalyst for the employee rebellion
against IBM's pension and medical theft. You can read the boards freely,
but if you wish to contribute, you must become a "member"
of the selected board. You can choose to remain anonymous if you join
a board...in fact, most members are anonymous.
- It all started with, http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/ibmpension,
"A place to talk about IBM pension conversions." This is still
the most active discussion board, and the source of most of the summaries
linked to by this site.
- Many think the only way to stop the benefits cutbacks at IBM and to
regain executive management respect for employees is through collective
organizing. Others disagree. The ibmpension discussion board discourages
conversations about union organizing, so http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/ibmunion
is the place to go if you're interested in the debate over unions at
IBM.
- Employee issues sometimes appear in the Yahoo! message board dedicated
to IBM investors. See http://messages.yahoo.com/bbs?action=t&type=f&board=4686902&sid=4686902

Other Online Boards
The IBM C-Planners' Group
was formed to address concerns on how IBM is managing the pensions of
IBM employees in the UK. The site includes a message
board.
The Vault has an IBM
Global Services Message Board.
